Via San Leonardo is an evident historical reality in Florence: its character envelops whoever walks along it, step by step. The lot destined for the design of the Ottone Rosai Museum-Foundation stands on a large wound in the old street, which still seems to have not been resurfaced. The project aims to preserve these features and reconstitute a lost continuity. The two marginal walls of Via San Leonardo are restored; the relationship between the street and the buildings is re-established; the landscape once again takes centre stage.
